Programme Overview
UCL's Sustainable Resources: Economics, Policy and Transitions MSc examines how societies and businesses can use natural resources more efficiently, equitably and sustainably.
Students study the economic, political, environmental and social dimensions of resource management.
The programme covers sustainable-resource transitions, circular economy, resource policy, sustainability economics and strategies for reducing environmental impacts.
Students develop interdisciplinary analytical and policy skills for evaluating resource systems and designing pathways toward more sustainable production and consumption.
The degree prepares graduates to work across sustainability consulting, government, environmental policy, industry and international organisations.
Entry Requirements
Applicants normally require at least an upper second-class Bachelor's degree or equivalent international qualification in an appropriate discipline.

Applicants with substantial relevant professional experience in areas such as government or business may also be considered.
English-Language Requirements
UCL English Language Level 2 is required.
Applicants must satisfy UCL's current Level 2 English-language requirement using an approved qualification.
Approved qualifications can include IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, Pearson PTE Academic and Cambridge English.
Applicants who satisfy UCL's published exemption rules may not need to submit a separate English-language test.
