Programme Overview
The University of Southampton Sustainable Energy Technologies MSc provides advanced engineering education across modern renewable and low-carbon energy technologies.
Students study photovoltaics, batteries, fuel cells, electrical power systems and wind, wave and tidal energy.
The programme also examines thermo-fluid engineering processes for low-carbon energy production and the wider economic, environmental and social performance of sustainable-energy systems.
Students learn to design and assess technologies such as photovoltaic systems, fuel cells, wind-power systems and hybrid propulsion systems.
The final part of the course includes an independent research project and dissertation.
