Entry Requirements
Applicants normally require a strong first degree in aeronautical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or another closely related quantitative engineering discipline.

Imperial and the Department of Aeronautics publish course-specific and general postgraduate scholarships. The 2026 Department of Aeronautics MSc scholarship required a complete programme application, including references, by 1 March 2026. Future deadlines must be checked annually.
