Programme Overview
Strathclyde's Advanced Mechanical Engineering MSc provides flexible advanced study for engineering and physical-science graduates.
Students develop specialist technical expertise together with professional skills including project management, research and risk analysis.
Optional study spans mechanics, fluid systems, energy, materials, aerospace and related engineering technologies.
Available study can include Nuclear Power Systems, giving the programme substantive relevance to nuclear-energy engineering.
Students complete an individual MSc project that may be connected to industry or current Strathclyde research.
Entry Requirements
Normally a first-class or second-class honours degree, or international equivalent, in engineering or physical sciences.
Equivalent professional qualifications may also be considered.
