Job Description
The Test and Evaluation Laboratory Technician will support Boeing Defence, Space and Security electrical and electronic testing. The technician will prepare test setups, operate electronic instrumentation and document results for products, systems, components and manufacturing processes. Testing may include electrical measurements, vibration exposure and thermal cycling.
Responsibilities
• Support planning and execution of electrical and electronic tests.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, fixtures and test articles.
• Operate power supplies, oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
• Record measurements and document test observations.
• Support vibration and thermal-cycle environmental testing.
• Inspect components before and after testing.
• Identify unexpected results and communicate anomalies to engineers.
• Maintain test equipment, calibration records and laboratory documentation.
• Follow approved test procedures and safety requirements.
• Support analysis and reporting of laboratory test results.
Eligibility
• Relevant technical education, training or electrical and electronic laboratory experience.
• Experience appropriate to the Associate or Experienced level.
• Ability to work second shift.
• Ability to meet United States export-control requirements.
• Ability to obtain a United States Secret security clearance.
• United States citizenship is required.
