Job Description

The engineer develops and conducts aerospace tests by gathering requirements, writing procedures and designing test fixtures. Work includes fixture fabrication, instrumentation, test execution and analysis of material, component and structural performance.

Responsibilities

• Gather engineering and test requirements.
• Develop test plans and procedures.
• Design and analyse test fixtures.
• Select materials and instrumentation for test setups.
• Lead test-fixture fabrication and assembly.
• Conduct aerospace component and structural tests.
• Monitor test safety and data quality.
• Analyse test results and material performance.
• Investigate unexpected failures.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations.,,

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an applicable engineering or scientific discipline.
• Relevant aerospace test and evaluation experience.
• Experience developing test procedures and fixtures.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and data.
• Active U.S. Secret clearance is required.
• Employer visa sponsorship is not available.
