Job Description
The Senior Product Review Engineer provides advanced liaison-engineering support for aircraft production. The engineer evaluates structural discrepancies, material characteristics, fatigue, damage tolerance and corrosion and leads the development of safe and compliant repairs.
Responsibilities
• Lead evaluation of non-conforming aircraft structures.
• Develop and approve complex repair dispositions.
• Analyse fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion and material strength.
• Perform structural assessments for metallic and composite components.
• Support additive-manufacturing and fabrication issues.
• Lead Material Review Board activities.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality and design teams.
• Mentor less-experienced product-review engineers.
Eligibility
• ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• At least nine years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Strong independent and team-based problem-solving abilities.
