Job Description

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a SATCOM systems engineer to support the Battlespace Communications System. The engineer develops systems-engineering artefacts for multi-band satellite terminals and associated support systems.

The role covers requirements, hardware and software integration, verification, validation and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Develop SATCOM systems-engineering artefacts.
• Analyse customer and operational requirements.
• Coordinate hardware, software and security interfaces.
• Develop verification and validation plans.
• Support system integration and field testing.
• Maintain configuration-controlled documentation.
• Coordinate with Defence stakeholders and suppliers.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology or equivalent experience is required.
• Systems-engineering lifecycle experience is required.
• Must be an Australian citizen.
• Must be eligible for Australian Government security clearance.
• Must be willing to travel around Brisbane and Defence facilities.
