Job Description
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a satellite-communications systems engineer to help develop land-based, multi-band transportable satellite terminals and related support systems.
The engineer will develop systems-engineering artefacts, analyse customer requirements, coordinate hardware and software integration and verify that deployed communication systems meet operational requirements.
Responsibilities
• Develop systems-engineering artefacts for satellite terminals.
• Analyse and manage customer and operational requirements.
• Coordinate software, hardware, security and support-system integration.
• Develop systems-engineering and verification plans.
• Verify and validate SATCOM products and designs.
• Maintain engineering documentation and configuration control.
• Support field events at Australian Defence facilities.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology or an equivalent field is required.
• Systems-engineering knowledge and lifecycle experience are required.
• Must be an Australian citizen.
• Must be eligible for an Australian Government security clearance.
• Must be willing to travel and work around Brisbane and Defence facilities.
