Job Description

The engineer represents Boeing’s Quality function within defence and aerospace programme teams. The position integrates contractual and quality-management requirements, develops product-certification plans and evaluates materials, manufacturing processes and nonconformances.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contractual and quality requirements.
• Develop quality metrics and certification plans.
• Evaluate materials and production processes.
• Review product and process nonconformances.
• Support First Article Inspections.
• Conduct process-capability assessments.
• Develop inspection, test and audit methods.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions.
• Support supplier and production-quality reviews.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in an applicable engineering or scientific discipline.
• Relevant quality, engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Meet U.S. Person export-control requirements.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.
• Employer visa sponsorship is not available.
