Job Description
Boeing is seeking a principal radar integrator to serve as chief engineer for radar development on a proprietary airborne programme. This is a senior technical-authority position responsible for radar development and programme execution.
The chief engineer serves as a primary technical interface between programme leadership, the radar supplier and the customer. The role covers radar architecture, modelling, simulation, integration, testing, risk management and resolution of complex technical problems.
Responsibilities
• Provide chief-engineer leadership for airborne radar development.
• Direct radar-system architecture, integration and technical execution.
• Coordinate technical work with radar suppliers and customers.
• Oversee radar modelling, simulation, design and testing.
• Resolve complex issues affecting programme milestones.
• Ensure compliance with programme and company engineering processes.
• Present technical issues and strategies to executive and customer leadership.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science or a related subject is required.
• Requires at least 20 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 18 years with a master’s degree or 15 years with a doctorate.
• Extensive radar-system experience is required.
• Must satisfy U.S. export-control requirements.
• Must possess the required Tier 5 investigation or enter continuous evaluation.
