Job Description

The Non-Destructive Quality Test Specialist inspects aerospace parts, components and assemblies for hidden defects. The specialist performs ultrasonic and eddy-current testing, analyses inspection data and supports additional methods such as radiography, penetrant and magnetic-particle inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic and eddy-current inspections.
• Inspect aircraft parts, assemblies and composite structures.
• Analyse and interpret ultrasonic C-scan data.
• Evaluate indications against engineering acceptance criteria.
• Prepare inspection reports and quality records.
• Support development of NDT procedures and techniques.
• Maintain inspection equipment and reference standards.
• Work safely in confined spaces and elevated work areas.

Eligibility

• At least three years of NDI or NDT experience.
• At least three years inspecting parts, components or assemblies.
• Current or previous NAS 410 Level II certification in ultrasonic testing.
• Current or previous NAS 410 Level II certification in eddy-current testing.
• Ability to provide certification evidence for Boeing Level III review.
• Ability to work variable shifts, weekends and overtime.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
