Job Description
The Senior Technical Analyst supports nondestructive evaluation, inspection measurement and materials-characterisation activities. The analyst works with ultrasonic, radiographic, eddy-current and penetrant processes and applies knowledge of material behaviour, stress analysis and fracture mechanics.
Responsibilities
• Develop and support NDE and measurement processes.
• Evaluate ultrasonic, radiographic, eddy-current and penetrant inspections.
• Analyse inspection data and measurement uncertainty.
• Support reference-standard and inspection-technique development.
• Investigate material and structural indications.
• Coordinate multiple technical projects.
• Work with engineering, quality and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare procedures, reports and customer presentations.
Eligibility
• Associate degree or higher.
• Approximately six or more years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree for Senior Level 4.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to manage several simultaneous technical projects.
