Job Description
The engineer leads chemistry-laboratory activities covering aerospace sealants and aviation-fuel quality. Work includes material qualification, chemical analysis, contamination investigations, laboratory leadership and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies.
Responsibilities
• Lead sealant qualification, testing and development.
• Manage aviation-fuel quality testing and investigations.
• Analyse synthetic and petroleum-derived aviation fuels.
• Operate and maintain advanced analytical instruments.
• Lead and mentor laboratory technicians and scientists.
• Interpret results and prepare technical reports.
• Monitor fuel-quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Procure analytical equipment.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Communicate technical findings to programme stakeholders.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, production engineering, chemical engineering, aerospace engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least three years of analytical-chemistry experience.
• At least two years leading laboratory teams.
• Experience with sealants and adhesives.
• Experience with ASTM aviation-fuel specifications and testing methods.
• Ability to work in India without employer visa sponsorship.
