Job Description
The engineer develops new capabilities for the F-15 Operational Flight Program used by United States and international customers. The work covers software architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, code, integration and verification.
The engineer contributes to real-time embedded software that operates within the F-15 mission computer and interfaces with radar, weapons and sensor systems.
Responsibilities
• Develop software architectures, requirements and algorithms.
• Design and implement Operational Flight Program software.
• Integrate software components into mission-computer systems.
• Develop verification plans and test procedures.
• Execute tests and document results.
• Troubleshoot embedded and mission-system software.
• Maintain software lifecycle documentation.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Relevant software-development experience appropriate to the selected level is required.
• Must satisfy U.S. export-control requirements.
• Must meet U.S. citizenship and security-clearance requirements.
• Must satisfy Boeing employment requirements.
