Job Description

The software engineer joins Boeing’s Experimental Systems Group Flight Software team. The role develops software close to flight hardware and mission operations, with emphasis on safety, reliability, performance and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop vehicle-management software.
• Implement software for aerospace and autonomy platforms.
• Integrate software with flight hardware.
• Develop unit, integration and system tests.
• Analyse software performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot flight-software issues.
• Maintain software lifecycle documentation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Relevant software-engineering experience is required.
• Must satisfy U.S. Person export-control requirements.
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Must satisfy Boeing employment requirements.
