Job Description

This engineer provides experienced or senior-level technical support for aerospace composite structures. Responsibilities span material and process qualification, production support, supplier coordination, safety and quality compliance and resolution of complex composite-manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead composite-material and process investigations.
• Qualify composite parts, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and production requirements.
• Resolve complex manufacturing and quality problems.
• Support large-scale composite production.
• Coordinate with suppliers and production organisations.
• Develop corrective actions and process improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to less-experienced engineers.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• At least five years of engineering or manufacturing experience.
• At least two years interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• At least two years of composite or composite-manufacturing experience.
