Job Description

The Experienced Data Scientist solves complex engineering and operational problems using statistical analysis, machine learning and distributed data. The role works with domain experts and software engineers to turn experimental models into secure, scalable customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex engineering and operational datasets.
• Develop statistical and machine-learning models.
• Identify patterns, trends and actionable insights.
• Work with engineers to deploy models into production environments.
• Evaluate model accuracy, performance and scalability.
• Incorporate aerospace-domain knowledge into analytical solutions.
• Create technical visualisations, reports and presentations.
• Maintain data security and programme compliance.

Eligibility

• Relevant quantitative, computer-science, engineering or data-science education.
• Professional experience developing machine-learning or statistical models.
• Experience using programming tools for data analysis.
• Active US Secret security clearance.
• US citizenship.
• Ability to work onsite in Hazelwood.
• Boeing will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
