Job Description
Boeing is seeking an electronic technician to support infrastructure maintenance across its Puget Sound operations. The technician installs, inspects, tests, diagnoses and repairs electronic equipment used to support industrial and aerospace-production facilities.
The work requires practical knowledge of electronic circuits, instrumentation, control equipment, communications systems and technical documentation. The position is on second shift and may support multiple Boeing locations in Washington.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot electronic infrastructure and control equipment.
• Inspect, test, maintain and repair electronic circuits and components.
• Use meters, diagnostic equipment and technical documentation.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electronic systems.
• Identify defective components and complete appropriate repairs.
• Record maintenance actions and equipment conditions.
• Follow electrical-safety, quality and facility-maintenance procedures.
Eligibility
• Must possess relevant electronic-maintenance training or practical experience.
• Must be capable of working on second shift.
• Must be able to interpret electronic diagrams and technical instructions.
• Must meet Boeing’s safety and employment requirements.
• Must have sufficient English ability to follow technical and safety instructions.
