Job Description
Boeing is recruiting experienced, lead and senior electronic-systems engineers for defence and aerospace programmes across the St. Louis region. Supported platforms can include the F-15, F/A-18, F-22, F-47, T-7A, MQ-25 and precision-weapons programmes.
The engineer will translate customer needs into traceable electronic-system requirements, define hardware and software interfaces and establish verification approaches. The work spans architecture, integration, laboratory testing, aircraft testing and investigation of emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
• Decompose customer needs into traceable and testable system requirements.
• Develop electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Define hardware, software and interface specifications.
• Develop system architectures and technical-performance specifications.
• Establish verification, validation and testing approaches.
• Support electronic-system integration and troubleshooting.
• Investigate emerging technologies for future avionics and defence products.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Relevant electronic, electrical, avionics or systems-engineering experience is required.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a United States Secret security clearance.
• Must satisfy programme-access and Boeing employment requirements.
