Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will work as a printed-circuit-board designer within Boeing’s Electrical Engineering Capability Team. The engineer will design, sustain and upgrade advanced electronic products and support production and specialised test equipment. The position includes high-speed digital design, signal-integrity analysis, schematic development, board layout coordination and verification of electronic hardware.
Responsibilities
• Develop printed-circuit-board designs for aerospace electronic products.
• Create and review electrical schematics.
• Define board-stack-up, routing, grounding and power-distribution requirements.
• Perform high-speed digital circuit and signal-integrity analysis.
• Coordinate component placement and board layout.
• Support production and specialised test-equipment design.
• Investigate circuit-card failures and manufacturing issues.
• Participate in peer reviews and design-verification activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and configuration-controlled design data.
• Support electronic-product sustainment and upgrades.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or another directly relevant technical discipline.
• Professional experience designing printed circuit boards or electronic hardware.
• Ability to meet United States export-control requirements.
• Ability to obtain a United States Secret security clearance.
• United States citizenship is required for the security clearance.
