Job Description

The Data Engineer develops and supports cloud-deployed data environments for Boeing Canada. The engineer works with relational and non-relational databases, Python, cloud infrastructure and data pipelines supporting artificial-intelligence, machine-learning and analytical applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Develop data pipelines and transformation processes.
• Support artificial-intelligence and machine-learning projects.
• Design relational and non-relational data solutions.
• Develop Python data-processing components.
• Deploy and monitor cloud-based services.
• Implement data-quality monitoring.
• Collaborate with software, analytics and data-science teams.

Eligibility

• At least two years of cloud-deployment experience, preferably with Azure.
• At least two years of relational and non-relational database experience.
• At least two years supporting data science, AI, machine learning or analytics projects.
• At least one year of Python experience.
• Legal authorisation to work in Canada.
• Eligibility to handle US export-controlled data.
