Job Description
Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking an experienced electrical laboratory technical designer to support the B-52 programme in Oklahoma City.
The role develops and maintains electrical and mechanical drawings, wire-harness designs, installation layouts and engineering documentation. It also supports design validation, electrical troubleshooting, fabrication and integration activities.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Create wire-harness and cable-fabrication designs.
• Prepare installation layouts and engineering documentation.
• Incorporate approved design changes.
• Support electrical-system functionality validation.
• Use power supplies, power meters and electrical analysers.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using volt-ohm meters.
• Coordinate designs with engineering teams and suppliers.
Eligibility
• At least three years of wire-harness or cable-design experience is required.
• At least three years of electrical troubleshooting experience is required.
• Experience using electrical measurement instrumentation is required.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently.
• Must satisfy U.S. citizenship and security-clearance requirements.
