Job Description
The Digital Design Engineer will join Boeing Electronic Products and develop ASIC, FPGA or mixed ASIC/FPGA solutions for advanced aerospace programmes. The position covers requirements refinement, digital architecture, HDL development, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, implementation, integration and system troubleshooting. Engineers may contribute to space, satellite, aviation, communication and autonomous-system products.
Responsibilities
• Support ASIC, FPGA and mixed digital-hardware developments.
• Refine digital requirements and maintain design traceability.
• Develop HDL and RTL for ASIC, FPGA and system-on-chip devices.
• Compile, simulate and debug digital designs.
• Perform synthesis, constraints development and implementation.
• Support static timing analysis and timing closure.
• Collaborate with verification teams on simulation and coverage.
• Integrate processors, memories and high-speed interfaces.
• Troubleshoot subsystem and system-level digital problems.
• Communicate technical risks, dependencies and design trade-offs.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of ASIC, FPGA or system-on-chip digital-design experience, or a completed relevant master’s degree.
• Experience with HDL development, simulation, debugging and synthesis.
• Strong digital-logic and computer-architecture fundamentals.
• Ability to obtain a United States Secret security clearance.
• United States citizenship is required.
