Job Description
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an avionics aircraft-maintenance engineer for its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services team at RAAF Base Amberley.
The engineer will perform deeper-level maintenance and aircraft modifications on the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler. Work includes avionics inspection, component replacement, fault diagnosis, post-maintenance testing and certification.
Responsibilities
• Inspect, maintain and repair aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
• Remove and replace avionics components.
• Conduct aircraft-system testing and troubleshooting.
• Support capability improvements and aircraft modifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical publications.
• Complete maintenance documentation and certification.
• Follow applicable safety, quality and airworthiness requirements.
Eligibility
• Certificate IV in Aeroskills in Avionics is required.
• Demonstrated avionics aircraft-maintenance experience is required.
• Must have experience in a regulated aviation environment.
• Must be an Australian citizen.
• Must be eligible for an Australian Government security clearance.
