Job Description

The Associate Cloud Engineer supports Boeing’s Digital Infrastructure Segment. The engineer works with DevSecOps, site reliability, product-security, cyber and information-technology teams to deploy software applications, integrate edge computing and migrate on-premises tools to scalable cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure complex commercial software on cloud platforms.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure with local edge-computing environments.
• Migrate on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure scripts.
• Provision compute, storage and networking resources.
• Coordinate application architecture with software vendors.
• Maintain consistency across development, test and production environments.
• Tune cloud resources to meet application-performance requirements.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of experience with public-cloud platforms.
• At least one year of DevOps experience.
• Active US Secret security clearance.
• US citizenship and ability to work completely onsite.
• Boeing will not sponsor employment visas.
