Programme Overview
UCL's Machine Learning MSc provides advanced theoretical and practical training in modern machine learning.
Students develop strong foundations in supervised learning and can study topics including probabilistic and unsupervised learning, graphical models, reinforcement learning, machine vision, statistical natural language processing, Bayesian deep learning and applied deep learning.
Some teaching is delivered in collaboration with organisations including the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit and Google DeepMind.
Students complete a substantial research project that may be undertaken with an academic or industry partner.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should normally hold at least an upper second-class UK Bachelor's degree or equivalent international qualification in a highly quantitative subject.

Other strongly quantitative disciplines
Applicants should be comfortable with undergraduate mathematics, including linear algebra and calculus.
Relevant professional experience may also be considered.
English-Language Requirements
UCL English Language Level 2 is required.
Applicants must satisfy UCL's current Level 2 requirement using an approved qualification such as IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson PTE or Cambridge English.
