Programme Overview
Automotive Engineering MSc provides advanced technical preparation for a rapidly changing automotive industry.
Originally developed with Ford Motor Company and Jaguar Land Rover, the programme combines traditional vehicle-engineering principles with technologies shaping future ground transportation.
Students develop knowledge across automotive systems, vehicle design, powertrain technologies, vehicle dynamics, modelling, simulation and modern vehicle development.
The programme draws on Loughborough's specialist Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering department and its automotive research and industry relationships.
Entry Requirements
Applicants normally require an honours degree or equivalent in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or another relevant engineering or physical-science discipline.
The programme expects appropriate mathematical and engineering preparation.
