Stanford University's Master of Science in Computer Science is a terminal professional graduate degree providing advanced preparation for technical careers in computing.

Scholarship Information
Stanford Computer Science does not normally guarantee departmental financial support for MS students. Knight-Hennessy Scholars Eligible applicants from any country may separately apply for Knight-Hennessy Scholars. Knight-Hennessy provides up to three years of graduate funding for selected Stanford students. For the 2027 cohort, the Knight-Hennessy application deadline is 6 October 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Course and research assistant opportunities may also exist, but these are competitive and should not be assumed as part of admission.
