Programme Overview

Cranfield's Automotive Mechatronics MSc develops system-level expertise for increasingly software-driven and electrified vehicles.

Students study mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic systems, control theory, vehicle communications, electric machines, power electronics, energy storage and high-voltage architectures.

Automotive-focused subjects include hybrid and electric drivetrains, vehicle dynamics, intelligent controls and modelling and simulation.

Practical laboratory, hardware-in-the-loop and rapid-prototyping activities support the taught curriculum.

Entry Requirements

Applicants normally require a UK first- or second-class honours degree or equivalent international qualification.
