Job Description
The technician maintains turbine output and availability through planned maintenance, repairs, technical diagnosis, safety compliance and electronic service reporting.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and repair turbine systems and components.
• Diagnose variable-pitch and variable-speed turbine faults.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Complete electronic service reports.
• Support site operations and coordinate with remote specialists.
Eligibility
• High-school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of wind-maintenance experience or two years of relevant electrical and hydraulic work.
• Valid driving licence.
• Technical-assessment and basic computer capability.
• Ability to climb turbines and conduct physical field work.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
