Job Description
The technician performs turbine operations, preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnostic analysis and service documentation while supporting safety and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
• Maintain wind-turbine electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical and mechanical problems.
• Perform electrical diagnostic analysis.
• Record completed work electronically.
• Coordinate with site and remote-operations teams.
Eligibility
• High-school diploma or GED.
• One year of wind-technician experience or completion of a wind certificate, or relevant electrical and hydraulic experience.
• Valid driving licence and basic computer ability.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics.
• Ability to climb towers exceeding 300 feet.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
