Job Description

The Powertrain Validation Engineer will connect early engineering concepts with rig, dynamometer, vehicle and production testing. The engineer will develop validation strategies for electric drive units and confirm their durability, performance and reliability. The position requires close coordination with component-design, systems, testing, supplier and production teams throughout design validation and production validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electric-powertrain validation strategies.
• Translate system requirements into Design Validation and Production Validation plans.
• Plan and track rig, dynamometer and vehicle testing.
• Coordinate tests with internal laboratories and external testing suppliers.
• Analyse test data and investigate component or system failures.
• Track engineering features, requirements and software updates.
• Report validation status, technical risks and corrective actions.
• Support next-generation drive units through production launch.

Eligibility

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Approximately one to five years of hands-on electric-vehicle requirements or validation experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electric powertrains, driveline systems and high-voltage vehicle components.
• Experience with Design Validation, Production Validation or equivalent product-validation processes.
• Data-driven approach to diagnostics and failure analysis.
