Job Description

The Software Engineering Project Manager serves as Deputy Lead for a Space Protection Programs Integrated Product Team. The position combines software-engineering knowledge with programme leadership to guide complex flight-software activities from planning through development, integration, verification and production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flight-software development, integration and verification.
• Maintain the integrated software programme plan and schedule.
• Monitor costs, performance targets and earned-value information.
• Coordinate milestones and interfaces across software, hardware, systems and test teams.
• Support staffing and resource-planning activities.
• Conduct trade studies, risk analysis and mitigation planning.
• Ensure software deliverables meet technical, quality and schedule objectives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience with flight software, satellite embedded software or complex product development.
• Previous experience as a product owner or software lead.
• Experience with Agile programme-increment planning, Scrum and sprint planning.
• US citizenship and the ability to maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Littleton.
