Job Description
This Software Engineer joins Lockheed Martin’s THAAD interceptor flight-software team. The engineer supports the analysis, design, implementation, integration and testing of embedded flight software and a real-time hardware-in-the-loop missile testbed. Work is performed within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment supporting mission-critical defence technology.
Responsibilities
• Analyse flight-software requirements and technical specifications.
• Design, implement and test embedded real-time software.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop testbed development and operation.
• Troubleshoot software and system-integration problems.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, test and software engineers.
Eligibility
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to work full-time at the designated Sunnyvale facility.
• Ability to satisfy programme security and access requirements.
• Understanding of software-development fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving abilities.
