Job Description

Lead the mechanical development of vehicle closure structures, sealing systems and mechanisms such as handles, latches and actuators.

Responsibilities

Represent the Closures team during vehicle body-design reviews.

Coordinate supplier meetings and resolve mechanical design and development issues.

Support manufacturing from early vehicle builds through start of production.

Mentor less-experienced engineers and guide closure-system development.

Eligibility

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Approximately five or more years of automotive closures development or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
