Job Description

This engineer will develop battery structural components used across Rivian’s R1, R2 and R3 vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities

Own battery-structure components from concept development through production release.

Balance structural performance, safety, reliability, mass, cost and manufacturability.

Collaborate with analysis, testing, manufacturing and supplier teams.

Investigate test or production failures and implement permanent engineering solutions.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Relevant professional experience designing and releasing structural mechanical components.
