Job Description
The Senior Field Quality and Reliability Engineer will analyse product concerns arising from customer vehicles, service operations and manufacturing data. The engineer will lead technical investigations, identify failure mechanisms and coordinate containment and permanent corrective actions. The position connects field quality with design, manufacturing, supplier quality and service engineering.
Responsibilities
• Monitor field-quality, warranty, service and reliability information.
• Prioritise technical concerns based on severity, frequency and customer impact.
• Lead structured root-cause investigations of mechanical and vehicle-system failures.
• Coordinate component inspections, testing and engineering analysis.
• Establish containment measures for urgent product-quality concerns.
• Work with design, manufacturing and suppliers to implement permanent corrections.
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions using field and production data.
• Communicate investigation progress and technical risks to programme leadership.
• Improve failure-reporting and reliability-analysis processes.
Eligibility
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
• At least two years of experience in quality, manufacturing or a related engineering environment.
• Experience investigating technical failures and coordinating corrective actions.
• Strong analytical, communication and cross-functional problem-solving ability.
• Understanding of vehicle systems, production processes or service operations.
