Job Description

The Senior Engineer provides technical consulting for utilities, developers and energy customers. The role evaluates power-system performance and supports renewable generation, transmission planning, grid integration and reliability decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct power-system planning and reliability studies.
• Evaluate renewable-generation and transmission integration.
• Perform load-flow, stability and grid-performance analysis.
• Develop models, technical reports and customer recommendations.
• Support interconnection and system-impact studies.
• Manage consulting tasks, schedules and technical quality.
• Present study findings to customers and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work.

Eligibility

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional experience conducting power-system studies.
• Knowledge of transmission, generation and grid-reliability concepts.
• Experience using recognized power-system analysis software.
• Strong technical-writing and customer-communication ability.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
