Job Description
The engineer owns complete-seat development and integrates structural, comfort, safety, trim and manufacturing requirements into production vehicle programmes.
Responsibilities
Lead complete-seat system design and development.
Coordinate seat structures, mechanisms, foam, trim and electrical features.
Create and release production designs.
Support physical testing and safety validation.
Work with suppliers, manufacturing, quality and vehicle-integration teams.
Resolve launch and production issues.
Eligibility
Mechanical-engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Extensive automotive seating or interior-system experience.
Experience delivering components from concept to production.
Knowledge of vehicle safety and validation requirements.
Ability to lead suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
