Job Description
The engineer develops electric-machine mechanical hardware through packaging studies, concept design, prototype builds, testing and production release.
Responsibilities
Design electric-motor components and assemblies.
Conduct mechanical packaging studies.
Develop concepts and prototype hardware.
Create production drawings and assembly documentation.
Support motor testing and design validation.
Resolve manufacturing and production concerns.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
Extensive mechanical product-development experience.
Knowledge of rotating machinery and manufacturing.
CAD and production-release experience.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
