Job Description

The engineer develops cockpit and instrument-panel components while working with vehicle design, safety, manufacturing, quality and supplier teams.

Responsibilities

Develop instrument-panel structures, trim and related components.

Create and release production-ready CAD designs.

Perform packaging, tolerance and design-feasibility studies.

Support testing, validation, tooling and manufacturing launches.

Resolve component-quality and production concerns.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.

Automotive interior or instrument-panel design experience.

Production CAD and component-release experience.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design validation.

Understanding of automotive safety and compliance requirements.
