Job Description

The engineer delivers exterior-trim systems that satisfy cost, mass, appearance, durability, regulatory and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

Design and release exterior-trim components.

Develop fascias, claddings and underbody shields.

Create CAD models and engineering drawings.

Lead root-cause investigations and permanent corrective actions.

Coordinate suppliers, studio, manufacturing and quality teams.

Manage design validation and production launch.

Eligibility

Relevant mechanical-engineering degree.

Automotive exterior-component development experience.

CAD and production-release experience.

Knowledge of polymer materials and manufacturing.

Strong root-cause and supplier-management capabilities.
