Job Description

This graduate engineer works with design and manufacturing teams to create production tooling for complex microreactor mechanisms. The role includes hands-on design, analysis, fabrication and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design production and assembly tooling.
• Develop semi-remote reactor fuelling and defuelling equipment.
• Perform mechanical calculations and CAD design.
• Prepare drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Identify suppliers and support fabrication.
• Assemble, test and improve tooling.

Eligibility

• Recent or expected engineering degree appropriate to the position.
• Mechanical-design and engineering-analysis fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD through coursework, internships or projects.
• Interest in hands-on manufacturing work.
• Ability to work completely onsite in El Segundo.
• Eligibility to work with US export-controlled technology.
