Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer works with design engineers to develop reliable production methods for complex Kaleidos microreactor structures and mechanisms. The role supports fabrication, assembly, inspection and production-readiness activities.
Responsibilities
• Develop manufacturing and inspection processes for reactor components.
• Partner with design engineers on production-ready designs.
• Qualify and refine manufacturing methods.
• Develop manufacturing specifications and fabrication instructions.
• Maintain manufacturing bills of material.
• Resolve production and quality problems.
• Improve manufacturing safety, quality, efficiency and delivery.
Eligibility
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant manufacturing-engineering experience.
• Experience developing complex mechanisms or structures.
• Ability to create fabrication and inspection documentation.
• Ability to work completely onsite in El Segundo.
• Eligibility to work with US export-controlled technology.
