Job Description
The Airworthiness Engineering Professional manages aircraft certification from establishing the certification basis through documenting compliance and certifying aircraft-design changes.
Responsibilities
Establish certification bases and means of compliance.
Coordinate regulatory-authority involvement.
Demonstrate and document aircraft compliance.
Provide airworthiness guidance.
Assess certification and product-safety risks.
Develop risk-mitigation plans.
Present certification status to management.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Three to five years of experience in engineering project management, aircraft design or airworthiness.
Experience with aerospace certification regulations.
Understanding of aircraft systems and operations.
Strong project-management and communication skills.
Fluency in French and English.
