Job Description
The engineer supports new aircraft design studies and continued airworthiness by analysing aeroelasticity, aeroservoelasticity and structural dynamics.
The role combines finite-element modelling, aerodynamic analysis, software development, ground-vibration testing, flight-flutter testing and certification documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic simulations.
Prepare and maintain finite-element models.
Conduct flutter, divergence, stability and structural-dynamics analyses.
Develop and document engineering methods and internal software.
Support ground-vibration and flight-flutter testing.
Prepare certification reports and technical presentations.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s or preferably Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with an aerospace specialisation.
Relevant aerospace-industry experience.
Experience with aeroelastic analysis and MSC Nastran finite-element models.
Knowledge of CFD or aerodynamic modelling methods.
Programming experience using MATLAB, Python, Fortran, C or C++.
Eligibility to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods clearance.
Professional working ability in French and English.
