Job Description
The Nuclear Security Leader implements Canadian nuclear-security requirements across GE Vernova Hitachi facilities and customer programmes, including access control, personnel security and protected information.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate Canadian and U.S. nuclear-security requirements.
• Establish physical-security and access-control procedures.
• Manage personnel clearances and background checks.
• Protect classified, safeguards and proprietary information.
• Conduct threat and risk assessments.
• Coordinate customers, regulators and reactor security engineers.
• Maintain compliance with CNSC requirements.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or at least five years of nuclear or industrial-security experience.
• At least five years of Canadian nuclear-security experience.
• At least three years of management experience.
• Eligible for a Canadian Level II security clearance.
• Legally authorised to work in Canada.
• Ability to reach the site within 90 minutes when required.
• Ability to travel within Canada and to the United States.
