Job Description
This two-year development programme prepares early-career engineers for nuclear outage-service roles. Participants rotate through outage teams while completing classroom, virtual and hands-on technical training.
Responsibilities
• Complete a two-year rotational field-engineering programme.
• Participate in nuclear outage teams.
• Perform reactor-service work during plant outages.
• Complete classroom, virtual and practical training.
• Follow nuclear safety and technical procedures.
• Develop technical and team-leadership capabilities.
• Work with experienced nuclear engineers and field managers.
Eligibility
• Required technical education specified on the official posting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to travel up to 70% to domestic nuclear sites.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends during outages.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and satisfy physical and respirator requirements.
• Legal authorisation to work in the United States.
