Job Description
The NDI X-Ray Technician uses radiographic testing to identify internal defects in aerospace components and welded structures. The technician follows radiation-safety controls, evaluates film and digital inspection results and maintains certification and quality documentation.
Responsibilities
• Set up and conduct film and digital radiographic inspections.
• Follow approved exposure and radiation-safety procedures.
• Interpret radiographs and identify material discontinuities.
• Inspect welds and aerospace structural components.
• Document inspection results and technical findings.
• Maintain radiographic equipment and inspection records.
• Support quality-assurance investigations.
• Work any assigned shift according to production requirements.
Eligibility
• At least two years of related experience.
• At least 120 hours of documented formal radiographic-inspection training.
• At least 40 hours of radiation-safety training.
• Valid NAS 410 Level II or Level III certification.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to work any assigned shift.
